The semi-rugged F5 is designed and tested to fit real-world, field-ready conditions such as bumps, drops or exposure to wind, heat and rain. Built with high quality materials and an internal framing system, the F5 has been optimized to handle challenging work scenarios in the field. The DataGuard™ accelerometer, shock-mounted hard drive and optional SSD drive minimize data loss so when the occasional drop or bump happens, it won’t be the end of your work day.

The F5 features a built-in camera, a standard Radio Frequency (RFID) reader and an optional barcode scanner to document and diagnose work day problems. Scan tagged equipment to determine model and specification information and photograph your project before and after to document work. You'll always be able to see your F5 display in harsh outdoor or indoor lighting conditions with the View Anywhere® display. Coordinate numerous subcontractor jobs on site without worry of adverse conditions like dust, dirt and moisture. The durable, quick cleaning design of the F5, which is IP54 rated, gives you confidence to do your job in any situation.

The optional integrated wireless broadband technology offers true mobility and flexibility so you can continuously deliver a high level of quality service. Access route plans, acknowledge schedule changes, update job information and download sales reports. Allow customers to pick up an F5 from a central shopping area and shop on their own terms. Customers can scan items, research product information and even place an order in advance so it is ready when they check out.
